GM Custom Carpentry / GMCC is a full service Home Improvement Company located in Frederick County, Maryland.  GMCC specializes in additions, decks, basements, and the remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms. The owner Glenn K. Murrell started constuction as a carpenters helper and worked his way up to become a carpenter, then a foreman, then a supervisor. Soon after, Glenn started GMCC and he has been doing construction ever since. Glenn is a very particular man and will not let any inferior workmanship get by him. Established in 1988, GMCC has completed all projects to the full satisfaction of our clients. When we first meet, there will be a lot of questions. Usually the homeowner has an idea of what they want their project to look like and price range they want. Some clients even bring us a picture, a sketch, or even blue prints. Don't worry, we have an expert draftsman to draw whatever you like for FREE. After the designing process, signing a contract will get you started. The next step is to obtain a permit from the proper authorities and begin construction. You can choose whatever you desire for your project. During construction we clean up at the end of everyday to minimumize any inconvenience to our clients. When the construction is finished you will have a walk-thru to inspect the entire project.
