ABOUT US    MG Homes is a custom home builder located in Fredreick County, MD. The owner Glenn K. Murrell, Master Carpenter and builder, has over twenty years of experience in the construction industry. After his college exprience, Glenn started his construction career as a framing laborer for a large construction company. Soon, Glenn worked his way up to become a carpenter's helper and then a carpenter. After 5 years as a carpenter he decided he enjoyed construction and started his own construction company GM CUSTOM CARPENTRY (home improvements). Soon after that MG HOMES was born and Glenn began building homes. Now over twenty years later he has perfected his building techniques and has this down to a science. Glenn personally supervises all construction to ensure top quality work is performed. Glenn is a very particular man and will not let any sub-par workmanship get by him. HOW IT WORKS   When we first meet, there will be a lot of questions. Usually the homeowner has an idea of what style house and price range they want. Some clients even bring us a picture from a home book, a sketch, or even blue prints. Don't worry, we have an expert draftsman to draw whatever you like. After the designing phase, signing a contract will get you started. The next step is to obtain a permit and begin construction. You get to choose whatever you like to put in your new home. After the construction process is finished you will have a walk-thru to inspect the entire home. All items from the walk-thru are quickly addressed, next you get to move into your new home.
